Glasgow, United Kingdom; 16th July 2020: Sistemic Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has received Notification of Intention to Grant by the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) for the patent application entitled “Functional Prediction of MSCs” (UK Patent Application No. 1608086.3).

Sistemic is Back Open for Business

Release Date: April 15, 2020

On the 24th March 2020 we let everyone know that in order to comply with the UK and Scottish Governments' lock down restrictions, the company would temporarily close at the end of the working day 24th March 2020.

We have now put the necessary IT infrastructure to allow all staff to work from home, and also the social distancing measures to allow lab work to be safely carried out in compliance with the UK and Scottish Governments' social distancing measures.

COVID-19 and Sistemic shutdown

We are taking this opportunity to let you know that as of 20.30 GMT 23rd March 2020 the UK and Scottish Governments issued further legally enforced social distancing measures, and as part of this, have instructed all non-essential businesses to close with immediate effect. They have stated that this situation will be reviewed following an initial 3 week period, in the first instance.

Sistemic’s platform technology pioneering the approach and development of miRNA-based profiling tools to guide and support Cell Therapy (CT) product development and drug discovery and repositioning

Allows for robust miRNA profiling, customised multi-layered statistical analysis, and biological interpretation and identification of the key markers (KmiR’s™) of cell phenotype. Whilst also seeking to maximise the utility and value of the KmiR’s™ identified

Sistemic’s proprietary literature mining tool which searches NCBI Medline for co-citation of microRNA and user-defined biological terms. Search outputs are stored in a relational curated database which can provide insights target systems.

Sistemic's methodologies can also be applied to define, qualify and validating miRNA biomarkers from biofluids and surgical samples for prediction, diagnostic, prognostic, monitoring, toxicity and end-point.

Sistemic’s highly curated knowledge from internal and external projects covering miRNA and cell therapy-based knowledge. The database includes kmiR™ lists from all analyses and high impact meta-data. The knowledgebase is fully integrated with SistemSeek™ literature database
